I do not include/understand this action?

I don’t understand men! After a while of not dating, I decided to join one of those online dating sites. I met this guy on this site and we set a date to go to go out. He canceled from work at the last minute. I was ok with that as long as we could reschedule. I knew already that he had a flight out the next morning and had to get up early, so it was understandable that we just didn’t have time to go out.
Anyway, that’s not what is bothering me. That night we talked briefly online. He said he had to go pack, etc. and that he’d get back to me soon. It’s been 3 days. I texted him and he didn’t respond. He’s been ‘offline’ for 3 days now and I’m sure they have internet where he’s vacationing. On his profile, in plain sight, it revealed that he logged on in the past 3 days and that he certainly wasn’t viewing my profile. He hopes I dont date other guys, but it seems like a double standard here. I feel like an idiot for wasting my time w/ this guy. Stupid part is I took him at his word.

Maybe I am pathetic for this, but it’s opened my eyes anyway.
Kerry, you are so right. Upon reading over my question it really does sound on the verge of obsessive and possessive. I think this is more about me feeling like a failure with men than anything else.
And Jelly, your take on it sounds reasonable also.
And I shouldn’t stop myself from dating other men in the meantime.
